Kim Kardashian's new look!

So it looks like Kim K is trying to prove that she is a “sister”. No I don’t mean because she has “black” in her (low blow I know). 

Kim Kardashian debuted an extra Afro-centric braided style after hinting on twitter last week that she was going to change her look.  She was seen walking the streets of LA on Thursday (makeup-less) with the “new look”. The cornrows are basically a variation of her famous middle part hairstyle, except with braids (maybe she needs beads on the ends). I personally don’t care for this look, not even when Alicia Keys rocked it. *HiYelaGurl Shrug*

Maybe the new look comes at a time when she is set to promote her new music ventures (I thought the public decided that singing was something we did not want from her).  She’s even got a new video featuring Kanye (no not THAT kind of video, but a music video).

I really wish mama Kris or the Kardashian sisters had talked Kim out of both the braids and the singing. Kim and Kourtney will be taking New York in a spinoff of the 'Keeping Up with the Kardashian's' franchise this month (Click here for details on new show). Maybe this hair is part of the storyline (YIKES).

HOTNESS: Something for the fellas!

So my male readers are angry with me (sad face). I’m being told that my HOTNESS editions never have any eye candy for them. And after my last HOTNESS featuring Marlon Yates in his underwear, I felt obligated to do something for the guys.

I present the HOTNESS of Alessandra Audrey Rose Testa, aka Amber Rose.

There’s not a lot known about her. She is a 27 Philadelphia, PA native of Caribbean and Cape Verdean descent. The bisexual, former stripper was shaking showing her ass assets at the famous Deliah’s strip club (rapper Eve also stripped there before breaking into the industry) in Philly before she made the leap to Kanye West’s arm candy in 2008.

Being with Kanye helped her career tremendously for she has landed several urban magazine covers since being his squeeze. She has a new sunglass line launching soon. Rare to speak publicly, her most notable quote is, “The best sex I’ve had had been with myself”. Usually she takes to her twitter page (@TheRealAmberRose) to communicate with her fans.

She has recently broken up with Kanye and has been seen publicly with R&B singer Chris Brown and New Orleans Saint and Kim Kardashian ex Reggie Bush.

Million Dollar Smiles

I’ve always wondered why people wait so long to get their teeth fixed. The smile is one of the most noticeable features a person can have and yet many neglect it. How many times have we seen an otherwise attractive celebrity and wonder why they haven’t gotten their smile fixed? Certainly they have the money. With all the cosmetic options available, there is no reason a person with the financial means can’t get their mouth improved.

There are also some celebrities who can’t wait to put their money where their mouth is (literally). Perhaps I am naïve to think that having diamonds implanted in one’s teeth is a ridiculous waste of money, but the owners of these million dollars smiles may not:

Lil Wayne’s diamond encrusted teeth proved to be a liability to him when he had to have dental surgery prior to doing a prison sentence to treat teeth that had been decaying underneath his diamond façade.

Kanye has offered no real explanation for his recent icing of his bottom row of teeth except, “"It's just something that rock stars are supposed to do." ::mmm ok::
